Find the source, not just the stain
Water can travel before it becomes visible indoors. An inspection considers shingles, pipe boots, roof-to-wall transitions, flashing and nearby drainage instead of assuming the stain is directly below the leak.
Repair or replace?
Localized damage on an otherwise sound roof may be repairable. Widespread deterioration, repeated leaks or compromised decking can make replacement the more practical option. We explain the tradeoff in writing.
What to do while you wait
Protect belongings from interior water, photograph visible damage from a safe location and call us. Avoid climbing on a damaged or wet roof. If there is an immediate electrical or structural hazard, contact the appropriate emergency service.
